Zanter
Zanter has a fascinating history that began about 70 years ago in post-war Japan. At a time when the country was recovering from military occupation, the first Japanese down clothing was launched under the name Zanter. Inspired by mountaineers, the brand was established as part of the company now known as Toyo Feather Industry, Co. Ltd. Zanter was the first domestic company to develop down clothing for cold weather conditions and down sleeping bags. The name Zanter reflects the fighting spirit and desire to create light, warm and authentic mountaineering equipment from Japan. As early as 1956, Zanter began supplying down clothing to the Japanese team of the Antarctic research expedition. Today, Zanter is more than just a brand; it stands for comfort and functionality. Whether in the city or in nature, Zanter products provide warmth and joy in the cold winter months and remain true to the quality and tradition the brand is known for.
