The M-51 Parka by Buzz Rickson's is an updated version of the M-48 Parka, which was developed during World War II. To protect the US armed forces from the cold, a layering system was developed that allowed the parka to be worn over normal clothing. At the same time, in the early 1950s, the US Air Force developed the masterpiece among flight jackets, the MA-1. As part of the "30th ANNIVERSARY COLLECTION", Buzz Rickson's combines two true icons and takes the layering system to a new level: This M-51 Parka is lined with a removable MA-1. Both garments can be worn individually or together as a warm combination.
