Buco was founded in Detroit in 1933 and was considered a leading manufacturer of motorcycle accessories – including leather jackets, helmets and boots – in the 1950s.
The J-99 Pants were Buco's best-selling racing pants of the 1950s and were originally made of leather. Designed as the perfect partner to the J-100 Racing Shirt, the high waistband ensured a good fit, protection, and comfort on the bike.
The Real McCoy's revisits the iconic design—this time in a wearable, modern version made from ultra-rugged cotton corduroy. The tightly woven material offers durability and flexibility, making the pants suitable for both on and off-road use.
Details like a gusseted crotch provide greater freedom of movement while riding. The reinforced crotch seam with a higher stitch count further increases durability.
There's also a vintage-style zipper with a square slider, a sturdy double button closure, side zip pockets, and two back pockets with snap fasteners and Buco branding.
Trousers with a history – interpreted in a modern way.
