The Calico is Freenote's own take on the classic single sawtooth western shirt. For the summer edition they have chosen a lightweight 6oz selvedge denim from the legendary Yoshiwa Mills in Japan. The denim is given a washed finish that makes it instantly soft and comfortable - from the first moment you put it on.
The Calico is Freenote's slimmest western shirt - however, it's not slim fit, just a little tighter than the looser Modern Western Shirt. The athletic cut is perfect for tucking in and looks great under a jacket, but the Calico also looks great in a relaxed look - not too long to wear loose or with the sleeves rolled up.
Japanese diamond snaps, curved pocket details, tonal stitching and Freenote’s signature 1/8” double needle stitching combine to create a shirt that will quickly become your new favorite vest shirt.
