The "MJ25004 COAT, MAN'S, COTTON RIP-STOP POPLIN" by The Real McCoy's is a thoroughly successful replica of the Jungle Fatigue Jacket – originally developed for use in the Vietnam War: lightweight, quick-drying, and made for tropical climates.
This version is based on the 1968 model, when the US Army replaced the original fabric with modern ripstop – a fabric that is tear-resistant and can withstand minor damage thanks to its special structure.
