The "BR12247 Tropical Combat Jacket" by Buzz Rickson's was developed in 1962 specifically for use by the US armed forces in Vietnam. Made from ultra-tightly woven, extremely durable yet super-light cotton poplin, it is ideal for places with high humidity and temperatures. Functional pockets provide space for organized storage. It became world famous thanks to Robert Duvall as Lieutenant Colonel Bill Kilgore in Francis Ford Coppola's war epic "Apocalypse Now".
