The "Lot 232 Type II Denim Jacket" is an admirably accurate reproduction of the iconic Type II. The 14.5oz Right Hand Twill Selvedge Denim was lovingly and meticulously developed on the basis of the original denim: Irregular yarns are spun from rice cotton ("ring-spun"), elaborately "rope-dyed" with indigo and finished with vegetable dyes to achieve a particularly deep indigo tone. The patiently dipped yarns are woven on vintage GL3 looms, The irregular thick properties are thus retained and give the denim a unique character.
