When BIRKENSTOCK approached us with the Grainau and offered us the exclusive opportunity to be the only independent dealer to offer this boat, we were both surprised and honored.

And what a boot it turned out to be! This special collaboration combines BIRKENSTOCK's centuries-old shoemaking heritage with the craftsmanship of Schuh-Bertl, the Munich-based master of bespoke shoes and traditional repair art. Schuh-Bertl's influence is evident in the design and craftsmanship of the Grainau - a reinterpretation of the legendary BIRKENSTOCK feel based on natural movement, through the lens of the finest, hand-crafted shoemaking.

Made from robust, semi-vegetable tanned Italian leather, the Grainau is much more than just a functional shoe - it is a statement of the highest quality and living tradition. The Norwegian welt seam, also known as the double seam technique, was perfected over 200 years ago for mountain farmers and craftsmen and ensures exceptional stability and durability.

While Grainau draws inspiration from the past, BIRKENSTOCK looks to the future. With advanced Deep Blue footbed technology for excellent support and comfort and a Vibram sole for the best grip and durability, this shoe defies any terrain.
