IHM-39-BLK Military Serge A2 Deck Jacket Black

The design of the IHM-40-ODG Whipcord A2 Deck Jacket by IRON HEART is based on the A-2 Deck Jacket issued to US Navy sailors in the early 1960s. It was the successor to the legendary N-1 Deck Jacket. The changes concern the choice of a lighter material and the modification of some functional details: the collar has been modified, the hem has been provided with an adjustable drawstring and an additional chest pocket for more versatility.

This version of IRON HEART stays true to the original design and is made of robust 11oz military serge with an inner lining made of 100% wool, specially selected by Mr. Haraki. The yarns are dyed in Nagoya and processed in Osaka. The traditional weaving technique creates a particularly fluffy texture that optimally stores heat.
