THE REAL McCOY'S "Combat Winter Jacket", also called "Tanker Jacket", was developed in 1941 specifically for tank units.

To ensure sufficient mobility, the jacket was equipped with a back fold ("action back"). Other details were deliberately omitted so as not to hinder the wearer in the cramped conditions of a tank. The clear, minimalist design makes the jacket even more of a timeless classic.

With its warm wool melton lining and ribbed cuffs and hem, it offered excellent insulation without unnecessary bulk and inspired numerous civilian designs of the 1950s and 1960s.

The 2022 edition of REAL MCCOY MFG. CO. stays true to the proportions of the 1940s and sets new standards in authenticity and quality with high-quality details such as felled seams and a tailored zipper.
