M-65 (No Hood) Mitchell Pattern

The Mitchell camouflage pattern was adopted as the official military standard for camouflage tents and helmet covers. With the start of the Vietnam War, jackets and trousers were also produced. The quantities were very small, as they were made to order. To allow for versatile use, the fabrics were printed on both sides: a green jungle version and a brown desert version.
The "M-65 Parka" was introduced for the American armed forces in 1965 as an improved version of its predecessor, the "M-51".
