Discarded parachute cloth was used to make scarves for pilots who flew in open cockpits. The smooth fabric kept out the cold and protected them during frequent head movements. It was used to wipe fogged-up goggles, windshields and instruments during the flight and was therefore an indispensable accessory for every pilot.
The "MA19006 WW2 Parachute Scarf" by THE REAL McCOY'S is an authentic reproduction made from original vintage parachute fabric.
