Platica Coat Lovat Double Coating Charcoal

The classic, simple "Platica Coat" from MotivMfg not only impresses with its outstanding silhouette and anatomical fit, but also with an exceptional 20oz charcoal double weave fabric, which was manufactured in close cooperation with the renowned Lovat® Mill in Scotland to the highest standards of MotivMfg.

This fabric, made from 100% Shetland wool, comes from wild-bred Shetland sheep from the remote northern Scottish islands - directly from the region around the Lovat® Mill, the "home of tweed", which was founded in 1826. The wool fabric is mulesing-free and represents ethically sustainable production.

With a thick, sturdy Cheviot yarn for the warp and flexible Shetland yarn for the weft, this double-weave hopsack tweed combines durability and flexibility for exceptional functionality and comfort - a masterpiece of style and quality.
