Roots Black Horsebutt

The "Roots" by ROLLING DUB TRIO are inspired by vintage boots. With a touch of avant-garde, the original design is preserved and respectfully reinterpreted. A robust stitchdown construction meets a restrained silhouette, a striking heel meets fine seams.

Made from fine Italian horsebutt leather, which is hand selected and given a final oil treatment in Japan before being cut and finished. The leather is a little stiff at first, but over time it gives way and adapts to the shape of the foot. Carefully selected horse leather forms balanced folds over time, which are different from the folds of aged cowhide.

ROLLING DUB TRIO produces its masterpieces in its own production facility "The Boots Factory" in Asakusa in the Tokyo district of Taitō, known as a center of traditional leather and shoe craftsmanship of legendary quality.
