After World War II, the first Sukajan jackets emerged in Japan – intricately embroidered souvenir jackets that American soldiers took home as mementos. This reversible jacket with the "Pit Viper × Eagle & Snake" motif is based on original designs from the 1950s – rich in detail, expressive, and deeply rooted in history.
As part of Tailor Toyo's "Special Edition," it brings back the craftsmanship of yesteryear: embroidery on vintage machines, loose knit cuffs made of pure wool, and a two-zipper zipper made on decades-old fastener machines. The fine acetate fabric is reminiscent of silk in look and feel, but is easier to care for, breathable, and crease-resistant.
The whole thing is rounded off by a woven Kosho & Co. label – a subtle nod to the origins of Toyo Enterprise. A jacket like a piece of contemporary history – wearable, reversible, unique.
