The jersey fabric is manufactured on rare circular knitting machines – true treasures from the 1920s to 1960s, which are now only in use in small numbers in Wakayama, Japan.
Cotton yarns of varying thicknesses are processed under low tension. The result: a pleasantly loose, textured fabric with a genuine vintage character – and the feeling that things were simply done better in the old days.
