The "Weird Guy Sakura Slub Selvedge" jeans by Naked & Famous are made from 16.5oz Japanese slub selvedge denim, woven on traditional vintage shuttle looms in Okayama, Japan.
This denim shows the full creative potential of the Canadian denim label: it is woven with large slub yarns that alternate between thick and thin sections. This unique structure not only creates an impressive denim texture, but also influences the penetration of the colour during rope dyeing. The different yarn sections fade differently and over time reveal a spectacular spectrum of indigo tones that continues to develop as the denim ages.
"Weird Guy" has a slim silhouette that sits loosely at the waist and hips and tapers perfectly from the knee.
