Buzz Rickson's "BR43042 WWII Black Denim Waist Overalls" is based on the jeans that were developed during World War II to counteract supply shortages. The usual rivets on the coin pockets and the usual tabs on the back pockets have been omitted. Made from a robust 13.6oz black selvedge denim.
The idea for an all-black collection was inspired by Buzz Rickson's fictional black MA-1 jacket, which the science fiction author designed for his protagonist in his book "Pattern Recognition". Buzz Rickson's brought the never-before-seen jacket to life and thus laid the foundation for the unique militaria collaboration "Type Black".
